Extremely rare 1MWF (First Moscow Watch Factory) Kirova Flyback Type-59 Chronograph circa late 1940s. It runs, though very intermittently. You can see from the images that the seconds subdial hand moved roughly one minute as I was photographing it. In any case, my assumption is that a simple clean, lube and adjustment will do the trick. It ran for years after I purchased it from mil watch expert Zaf Basha at classicwatch.com roughly 15 years ago. The backstory on these is noteworthy: Upon defeating Germany in 1945, the Red Army seized the UROFA-UFAG watch factory in Glashutte, which had produced this chronograph design under government contract for the Luftwaffe. Moscow ordered the transport of manufacturing machinery as well as unassembled watch parts back to Russia. Beginning in 1947, the First Moscow Watch factory (1MWF) assembled these watches from the German-manufactured parts and rebadged the dials with "1MWF Kirova." By 1951, 1MWF allegedly exhausted their supply of German-made parts and production of the Type-59 ceased. A quick web search will yield a more detailed history for the technically curious. When I purchased this copy, it was thought by the dealer to be one of fewer than 200 in running condition. I imagine that number is far lower today.
